list 36,000-paid 26,000. this was for 2 tt eagle 320,s.
The first one had major problems and Jayco give 2nd one to us for free joking.
The vin was change on loan so we still are paying for the replacement.

Update, went to dealer to see why ball was 6,000 lb. Was told the helper must have only looked at ball size ( 2 5/16 ) and not also at rating. He put a 12,000 lb ball on. I pulled this thing to DW and back. Leave nothing to chance or a dealer service center set your unit up and think they did it correct.

May be wrong place for question, but the hitch ball that came with reese wieght distribution has 6,000 lbs. stamped on the top. Does this mean that is the max lbs. camper i should tow

I went to the BAL RV product web site and found good intructions on jacks use. You can do some FINE tuning using jacks according to them.

I did state number on hitch wrong- it is 1250 / 12500 class 5. Barney you'r right the trunnion bars each are rated at 1200 lbs. Use scales to try and figure tongue and it appears it is 1170.

hitch-bars rating ??
My TT's hitch is a class 5 1250/12000, my hitch bar rating is 1,000/10,000 OR 1,400/14,000 tongue/trailor rating depending on hitch pin hole used, the trunnion bars ( reese dual cam ) is 1,200 lbs rating. Do I need to go to higher number on trunnion bars ??? maybe 1700, can't get 1400.

I have 2 toppers living room and bed room. due to length lr pools bedroom dosen't due to being shorter. hasn't made a problem yet. When rolled in a little at the time the water runs off and next time the slides come out on next trip toppers are still tight-unless it rains.

Is there such a thing as Hitch life and needing to be replaced every few years. Do they fatigue out.

forgot to consider this
When considering cost to have a TT I forgot to consider one small item COUNTY PERSONAL PROPERITY TAX on our TT. It is $ 1xxx.xx yearly. I thought about site rental / gas cost to tow / maint.cost / storage cost / insurance cost. Almost fell down when I opened notice, almost as much as our house.
